Bio

I am an Apparel Design and Merchandising Management professional from the Portland area who graduated from Oregon State University. Currently, I am working at Nike World Headquarters in Trim Development for Apparel.

I moved back to Portland in 2018 after living in Hiroshima, Japan for four years. While overseas, I worked at RUBY, a shop specializing in handmade wedding dresses and at GetHiroshima Magazine as a Fashion Columnist.

I have wanted to work in the apparel industry ever since my mother handcrafted me a pair of paper dolls when I was a young child. From that day on, I have had an inspired commitment for design that is only satisfied when I’m creating pieces of wearable art.

This commitment for people and design pushes me to try harder and go further in not only design, but in life. The industry fascinates me and I look forward to being submerged in it each and every day.

i <3 you, babydoll

It was the perfect birthday party, filled with beautiful dolls, bright red balloons, black and white cupcakes, and a life-sized present just for you. But you never came…

The dolls waited patiently for you until the birthday candles burned out, leaving a pool of wax, and the underbrush began to grow up about them...

So many broken hearts. Why didn't you ever come?

My Closet's Your Closet

To my dearest lover,

I want to thank you for always being by my side.

So many times when I was left alone and broken, you were there to hold me and tell me everything would be okay. Even if it wasn’t or never would be.

You are my whole world, baby, and I love you more than the words this uneducated, childish mouth could ever produce.

I’m sorry I’m not always happy and that I can’t always give you everything you need, but I want you know something.

I would give you everything I have to give and more if it meant I could make you smile just one more time.

And no matter what, baby, I just want you to know that “My Closet’s Your Closet”.
